Extruded Acrylic rods are available from Delvie's Plastics in standard 36" lengths.  (72" lengths are also available)   These economical acrylic rods are excellent for use in POP Displays and other decorative uses. They are normally supplied in a paper sleeve to protect during handling, but keep in mind that extruded acrylic rods do not have the optical clarity or machining characteristics of cast acrylic rod.  If you are planning on machining or drill the rod consider using our casts acrylic rod.  It has a higher melting temperature and machines and cuts with ease.

In larger diameter rods (.875" dia and above) these high-quality extruded rods are commonly used as grab bars in showers, tubs and spas. Acrylic is moisture resistant, non-toxic and meets standard building codes for use in these applications.  It is UV stabilized and it will not warp, crack, craze, or corrode when subjected to prolonged exposure outdoors. It has a forming temp of 350° F. Max continuous temp of 180°F.
